Principles of Automated Pressure Calibration



Pressure Seminar Our new 3 day Principles of Automated Pressure Calibration Training course will focus on Principles of Pressure Measurement and will provide trainees with the knowledge necessary to evaluate, operate, calibrate and maintain basic Pressure controllers and calibration systems.







Seminar includes the following topics:

  • Introduction to Pressure
  • Pressure Sensor Design
  • Pressure Calibration Systems
  • Methods of Pressure Control
  • Basic Maintenance of Ruska/Druck Controllers
  • Pressure Calibration Techniques and Procedures
  • Pressure Uncertainty Budgets
  • Applications techniques

Attendees will conduct hands on calibrations and experiments using specific Druck and Ruska equipment to include the Ruska 7250 series controllers, Druck DPI 515, and Intecal software. The Ruska 2465 DWT will be used to perform an actual calibration on the 7250 series controller.

The Automated Pressure Calibration is ideal for anyone interested in gaining or refining technical skills related to performing pressure calibrations or maintaining a quality assurance program. Metrologists, laboratory and quality assurance technicians, supervisors, engineers, and other static-pressure measurement professionals should attend.

Classes are held at our facility in Houston, Texas. Many of our course participants schedule a Sunday departure to visit some of Houston's sites, including NASA, museums, sporting events and a host of other activities in the nations 4th largest city.
