DPI 620 Series Advanced Modular Calibration System

Advanced Modular Calibration System
DPI 620 Series Advanced Modular Calibration System and HART® Communication System
Modularity brings a whole new perspective to multi-function test instruments, calibrators and HART communicators.

The DPI 620 Series uses three basic components to provide the multifunctionality to perform duties formerly requiring a wide range of different instruments.

At the heart of this system is the DPI 620, an ultra-compact electrical, temperature and frequency calibrator and HART communicator, which provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities with a fully featured HART digital interface. It integrates with pressure modules and pressure generation stations to form uniquely capable pressure test and calibration systems.

Click here to see a video demonstration of the DPI 620 NEW: The DPI 620 Series multifunction calibrator now incorporates a fully featured HART® communicator which surpasses market leading communicators in functionality, ease of use and upgrade support such that a single hand held device can now configure the full range of HART devices and perform mA trims and sensor calibrations without the need for secondary equipment such as ammeters, calibrators, power supplies and loop resistors. This can significantly reduce equipment inventory, cost of ownership and greatly simplify maintenance activities The DPI620 contains the latest application software and a complete library of registered HART device descriptions. Upgrades can be simply downloaded free of charge from our website.

Product Description

  • The DPI 620’s basic component is an ultra-compact, electrical, frequency and temperature calibrator and HART communicator.
  • Pressure measurement is provided by interchangeable pressure modules that can be attached to the calibrator by a pressure module carrier.
  • If pressure generation is required the calibrator and pressure module can be attached to one of three pressure generation stations, to form a fully-integrated pressure calibrator.
  • Multichannel datalogging, device error calculation and compatibility with PC calibration and asset management software are just some of the powerful built-in diagnostic and documenting tools.
  • The DPI 620 is also a fully featured HART communicator with device descriptions for all registered HART devices. mA measurement, 24V loop power, integral 250 ohm resistor and sourcing of the primary variable for pressure, temperature and electrical device calibrations are standard features. Software and device library updates are free of charge by simple file download.
  • The DPI 620 CE version has all the power of a pocket PC or PDA. it is now possible to carry all supporting safety and procedural documentation including Word, PDF, Excel, Power Point and images files in a calibrator/HART communicator.
