RSHydro Is New GE Sensing Distributor
Groby, England – August 4, 2007.
GE Sensing announces that RS Hydro has been appointed a leading UK distributor for its Panametrics range of ultrasonic flow meters including all portable, fixed and spool piece systems. RS Hydro specialises in non-invasive and clamp-on
flowmeters and has served the environmental, process and hydrocarbon industries for more than 10 years. The company is a full-service provider offering installation, commissioning, flow meter rental, flow meter calibration and service contracts
Under the new partnership RS Hydro will offer GE’s extensive array of wetted and clamp-on flowmeters and process control instrumentation and systems. These include the PT878 portable liquid flowmeter, which measures flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively and the PT878GC portable, clamp-on unit for ultrasonic gas flow measuring. Both instruments feature built-in data loggers with storage capacities of up to 100,000 data points. Also available from RSHydro are the DF868 and the AT868, both of which are suitable for fluids such as raw sewage, slurries and wastewaters, while the XMT868 liquid flow transmitter is contained within an explosion-proof housing to fit it for applications in hazardous areas..
“GE Sensing chose to partner with RS Hydro because of the team’s well-established high level of expertise and service to our customer base in the UK,” explained Andrew Priestley, distribution manager at GE Sensing.
