GE Sensing’s DigitalFlow™ ISX878 Receives Award
BILLERICA, MASSACHUSETTS, FEBRUARY 3, 2006— The editors of
Control Engineering magazine have recognized the DigitalFlow
ISX878 flowmeter as one of 45 best products of the year after
reviewing thousands of product entries throughout the year. Winners
represent products in eight categories: embedded control; human-machine
interface; instrumentation and process sensors; machine control and
discrete sensors; motors, drives and motion control; networks and
communications; process and advanced control; and software and information
integration. The ISX878 was one of four products chosen in the instrumentation
and process sensors category.
Control Engineering subscribers will vote for their top choice in each product category, with the winners being announced during National Manufacturing Week, March 20 through 24.
The ISX878 is an intrinisically safe, loop-powered ultrasonic flowmenter that uses only 60 mW of power. Advanced technology transducers that require less excitation energy than traditional transducers result in the ISX878’s low power consumption.
